Textile Training & Services Centre is a Professional service provider for the Textiles and Apparel Sector.

With the more than 25 years of excellent service, the Institute has contributed significantly, for the growth of the Textile and Apparel Sector in Sri Lanka.

Welcome with Tradition

The statutory government body was established in 1984 with the support of UNIDO/UNDP and later in 1996 further supported by the JICA. The institute was financed by Treasury and now become a self financing one is a greater achievement of the organization.

Calm Environment for Education

We mainly provide Training, Testing and Consultancy services to Textile and Apparel Sector.

The Centre provides, specified standard training programmes, short term training as well as tailormade customized programmes.


The highest level programme offered by the Institute is the Diploma in Technical subjects.
